SAP S/4 for Utilities: The successor product to SAP ECC with IS-U. The familiar functionalities of SAP IS-U are complemented by modular functionalities that are available on-premises or as a cloud solution. SAP Cloud for Utilities: Not a replacement for IS-U. This software-as-a-service solution enables, depending on its configuration, the use of multi-services offered by SAP. Through a hybrid approach, for example components of the CX suite, such as the Sales Cloud, can be used, while the regulatory processes can be mapped in the SAP Market Communication Cloud.
SAP Market Communication Cloud: Often referred to as Maco Cloud, enables the provision of regulatory processes.
SAP Cloud for Energy: SAP's public cloud solution combines Big Data-enabled energy and water data management on an open platform with easy-to-manage integration into established processes and IT infrastructures as well as intelligent and industry-relevant analytics. Integration: The integration of the cloud components, such as the CX suite described above, the Cloud for Energy, the Market Communication Cloud or even the cloud solution for asset management is done via cloud integration - simple, pragmatic and with SAP on-board resources.
