SAP EWM – Extended Warehouse Management

SAP EWM

Comprehensive warehouse management and efficient shipping processes with SAP EWM

SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) offers integrated support for logistics processes and a high level of transparency in business processes and for inventories. It facilitates flexible modeling of the warehouse and related processes, along with full integration with other SAP solutions (SCM, S/4HANA, ECC, CRM, TM). SAP EWM was developed specifically to handle complex warehouse processes and even the standard version offers a wide range of functions. The solution is available both as a component of SAP SCM and – under SAP S/4HANA – as embedded EWM. In summary, SAP Extended Warehouse Management is SAP’s strategic product for managing your warehouses.

Warehouse Monitor

The Warehouse Monitor is the central starting point and central tool for controlling EWM processes. It provides information and methods for all documents and inventories. The Warehouse Monitor can be configured flexibly within the scope of the customer project and enhanced with customer-specific functions.

Workplace/packing station

Central transaction for work steps in the warehouse using packing station handling. Typical uses:

Packing in goods issue | repacking in goods receipt | pick point | kitting

Mobile Radio Frequency (RF)

Technical integration of hardware (scanner, radio data transmission, RFID) with the radio frequency (RF) framework. The RF framework supports personalized menus and images, as well as flexible data processing. The RF transactions can be customized and the standard system already contains over 100 RF transactions.

Warehouse Cockpit | Easy Graphics Framework

The Warehouse Cockpit provides a concise graphical representation of relevant KPIs for warehouse supervisors. The Warehouse Cockpit lets you display your warehouse KPIs and defined Easy Graphics Framework objects graphically and analyze or monitor them using predefined chart types. The Warehouse Cockpit displays the KPI services that are delivered by SAP and configured individually in your system.
