    Electro Terminal's assignment for us:

As a medium-sized company, Electro Terminal wants to be able to rely on a future-proof ERP system. With its existing SAP ECC system, it was no longer possible to implement the desired process automation or ensure the IT support required for important future issues. In migrating to SAP S/4HANA, Electro Terminal sought to optimize processes and support workflows in mobile settings.

    The solution

Based on a previously conducted proof of concept , the existing SAP ECC system was converted to an SAP S/4HANA system as part of a brownfield approach. At the same time, SAP Fiori was implemented as a new user interface for mobile processes and Electro Terminal's business warehouse was replaced by an embedded instance of SAP BW. This short project was followed by a successful go-live with SAP S/4HANA.

    The result

    • Optimization of processes through new functions in SAP S/4HANA
    • Support for the customer's defined growth strategy
    • Planning security for future issues relating to aspects such as predictive maintenance and cash management
    • Improved performance and real-time reporting through SAP S/4HANA
    • Improved user experience through the SAP Fiori user interface

Thanks to excellent cooperation of all the partners involved and the direct communication channels at their disposal, this S/4HANA migration was successfully carried out on a very tight schedule.
