Scheer IMC from Saarbruecken wins international WEC Award in Cape Town

The “Staffing City” self-learning platform was presented with the WEC Award at the World Employment Conference 2025 in Cape Town. The international industry association has thus recognized the innovative contribution of Scheer IMC and swissstaffing to training and further education in the personnel services sector.

This award demonstrates how innovative and high-quality the solution developed by Scheer IMC is for its client.

The challenge of the project was that there was no standardized training for internal staff. To address this problem, Scheer IMC and swissstaffing jointly developed “Staffing City” - an innovative and playful virtual learning platform. Using a 2D/3D city interface, episodic stories and dynamic progress tracking, “Staffing City” provides learners with an engaging and hands-on experience.

This initiative is transforming training in the staffing industry by going beyond traditional e-learning and providing an immersive environment where staffing professionals can acquire industry-specific skills through a narrative-driven approach.
