Scheer Holding acquires a stake in the Berlin based start-up Inspirient GmbH
Scheer Holding, whose companies support clients in their sector specific digital transformations, has taken a double-digit minority shareholding in the start-up company Inspirient. Inspirient is an innovative company in the field of automated data analytics that combines the promising world of artificial intelligence with analysis from top tier management consulting. The contract with Inspirient, founded in Berlin in June 2016, was signed on November 23rd 2016.
Prof. Dr. August-Wilhelm Scheer commented: “At CeBIT 2016, Dr Georg Wittenburg and Dr. Guillaume Aimetti (who later founded their company) were already able to generate enormous interest in their software during CxO meetings with companies in the financial services sector. Inspirient is showing the way for companies who would like to get more out of their data for their competitive advantage. At its core, this is about the preparation of data in such a way that value-generating decisions can be made based on it. Through a combination of Artificial Intelligence and analysis from management consulting, data is not only evaluated quickly but relevant input for clear decision making is also delivered. We are looking forward enormously to the close cooperation between existing companies in Scheer Holding and this promising start-up.”
